It is an art course to learn how to create unique and original mandalas from circle patterns to coloring. Mandalas are tools that allow creativity to be developed through concentration, the relaxation and appeasement. We will study the discovery and creation of many shapes of mandalas with simple principles of geometry and construction. We will also discover how to create floral mandalas as well as the importance of colors in the interpretation of a mandala. Many printable “step by step” illustrations are included in this project. A mandala is an artistic creation which means circle and can take various artistic forms. For thousands of years, mandalas have been used as a meditation ritual.
